Join us for a fun and refreshing 2-day Summer Treats Camp where kids will make real ice cream, create fruit-based treats, and enjoy hands-on kitchen fun in a small, supportive group.
Campers will:
- Make homemade vanilla ice cream using an ice cream maker and homemade cookies for ice cream sandwiches
- Build ice cream sundaes with fresh fruit and toppings
- Create mini no-bake fruit tarts
- Design their own ice cream shop menu
Each day includes cooking projects, outdoor play, creative activities, lunch, and free choice time. Activities are naturally adapted so both younger and older children can participate confidently.

Join us for a gentle and creative half-day Garden Flowers Camp, inspired by summer gardens, flowers, herbs, and bees. Children will enjoy hands-on cooking and baking projects, beautiful nature-inspired art, outdoor play, and time to connect in a calm, small-group setting.
Throughout the week, campers will:
- Bake and decorate flower-shaped treats
- Make no-bake fruit tarts with fresh summer fruit
- Mix herb butter and flatbread
- Bake honey-sweetened muffins
- Create pressed flower art, paintings, collages, and herb sachets
- Celebrate the week with a Garden Party
Each day includes a predictable rhythm of cooking, creative projects, outdoor play, lunch, and calm pick-up. Activities are naturally adapted so younger children feel supported and older children can work more independently.

Travel the world through food in our International Kitchen Camp, a hands-on, full-day experience for school-age kids who love to cook, bake, and create.
Each day, campers will explore a different country or region by preparing savory and sweet dishes, learning real kitchen skills, and creating food-inspired art projects. This camp blends cultural curiosity, creativity, and confidence-building in a warm, small-group setting.

In this creative, full-day camp, kids will work together to write an original play, design and build puppets, create a puppet theater, and perform their show on the final day for families.
Throughout the week, campers will:
- Collaborate on storytelling and script-writing
- Design and construct puppets using a variety of materials
- Build sets, props, and a puppet stage
- Practice voice, movement, and performance skills
- Gain confidence through teamwork and creative expression
Each day includes creative work time, outdoor play, lunch, and rehearsal. The week culminates in a joyful puppet show performance on Friday.

Step into a storybook world in our Fairytale Kitchen Camp, where classic fairytales come to life through cooking, baking, and imaginative art projects. This gentle, half-day camp is designed especially for children who love stories, hands-on activities, and creative play.
Each day, campers will hear a beloved fairytale and create a simple, story-inspired recipe along with a matching art project. Stories may include Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Stone Soup, The Three Little Pigs, Snow White, and Jack and the Beanstalk.

In our STEM Kitchen Lab Camp, kids explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on cooking, baking, and creative projects.
Using the kitchen as a lab and art studio, campers will experiment, build, design, and create while learning real-world STEAM concepts in an age-appropriate, playful way.

Woodland Creatures Baking and Art Camp

Step into the forest for a magical week of baking, creativity, and woodland animals!
At Woodland Creatures Kitchen & Art Camp, children will spend their days baking animal-themed treats, creating nature-inspired art projects, and learning about the fascinating animals that live in forests.
Each day features a different woodland creature—such as foxes, bears, owls, squirrels, and deer—and campers will bring these animals to life through fun hands-on kitchen projects and creative crafts.
This camp is designed to spark imagination while helping children build confidence in the kitchen and explore their creativity.
What We’ll Be Making & Creating
Throughout the week, campers will enjoy projects such as:

About Teacher Madeleine
Hi! I'm Madeleine, experienced childcare provider, teacher, and fellow parent
I've always loved working with children, long before having two of my own. I taught in preschools, worked as a nanny for several families, and tutored in Seattle Public Schools for years before becoming a mom. Growing up in Seattle, my family really valued the creative arts and supported my interests. I strongly believe in the immense value creative expression holds, particularly for children's development. While pursuing my Master's at the UW, I took several Art classes and am continually learning more. More recently, I ran my own after school care program for Arbor Heights Elementary students. Currently I teach afterschool enrichment classes at several schools in West Seattle.
I created Madeleine's Kids Classes because, as a parent, I've noticed a lack of enrichment activities for kids and creative classes for children in my area. My aim is to provide classes that meet both the need for kids to have new creative learning experiences while giving parents a well-deserved break.
