A Cozy Fall Baking Workshop for Young Bakers

Celebrate the beginning of fall with a cozy afternoon of baking! In this hands-on workshop, young bakers will create two delicious seasonal favorites while learning real kitchen skills in a fun, welcoming environment.
Children will measure, mix, bake, and decorate from scratch while building confidence, making new friends, and taking home their homemade creations to share with their family.
During this workshop, children will:

Little Pumpkin Bakers
Parent & Child Fall Baking Workshop

Celebrate the magic of fall together in this cozy parent-and-child baking experience! Little bakers and their grown-up will spend the morning mixing, measuring, decorating, and making sweet autumn memories side by side.
Together you'll bake delicious Pumpkin Mini Muffins, roll and decorate Fall Sugar Cookies, enjoy a cozy fall snack, and head home with a bakery box full of homemade treats.
During this workshop, families will:

Step into a magical storybook world where classic fairytales come to life through cooking, baking, creativity, and imaginative play.
At Fairytale Kitchen Camp, children will spend the week baking delicious treats, creating beautiful keepsakes, hearing beloved stories, and making new friends in a warm, small-group environment. Each day is inspired by a different classic fairytale, bringing stories off the page and into the kitchen.
Campers will mix, measure, knead, decorate, paint, and create while building confidence and practicing valuable life skills through hands-on experiences.
Camp Highlights:
🍯 Bake honey oat muffins inspired by Goldilocks and the Three Bears
🥕 Make and share a pot of Stone Soup while creating a handmade clay kindness bowl
🍞 Bake bread from scratch like The Little Red Hen and create story puppets
🍎 Make warm apple turnovers inspired by Snow White
🌱 Decorate magical beanstalk cupcakes and plant a "magic bean" to take home
🎨 Create fairytale-inspired art projects and keepsakes

Join us for a fun and refreshing 2-day Summer Treats Camp where kids will make real ice cream, create fruit-based treats, and enjoy hands-on kitchen fun in a small, supportive group.
Campers will:
- Make homemade vanilla ice cream using an ice cream maker
- Build ice cream sundaes with fresh fruit and toppings
- Create mini no-bake fruit tarts
- Prepare summer fruit kabobs with yogurt dip
- Design their own ice cream shop menu

Step into the forest for a magical week of baking, creativity, and woodland animals!
At Woodland Creatures Kitchen & Art Camp, children will spend their days baking animal-themed treats, creating nature-inspired art projects, and learning about the fascinating animals that live in forests.
Each day features a different woodland creature—such as foxes, bears, owls, squirrels, and deer—and campers will bring these animals to life through fun hands-on kitchen projects and creative crafts.
This camp is designed to spark imagination while helping children build confidence in the kitchen and explore their creativity.
What We’ll Be Making & Creating
Throughout the week, campers will enjoy projects such as:

About Teacher Madeleine
Hi! I'm Madeleine, experienced childcare provider, teacher, and fellow parent
I've always loved working with children, long before having two of my own. I taught in preschools, worked as a nanny for several families, and tutored in Seattle Public Schools for years before becoming a mom. Growing up in Seattle, my family really valued the creative arts and supported my interests. I strongly believe in the immense value creative expression holds, particularly for children's development. While pursuing my Master's at the UW, I took several Art classes and am continually learning more. More recently, I ran my own after school care program for Arbor Heights Elementary students. Currently I teach afterschool enrichment classes at several schools in West Seattle.
I created Madeleine's Kids Classes because, as a parent, I've noticed a lack of enrichment activities for kids and creative classes for children in my area. My aim is to provide classes that meet both the need for kids to have new creative learning experiences while giving parents a well-deserved break.
