Celebrate spring in the sweetest way! Kids will mix, bake, decorate, and assemble adorable Flower Pot Dirt Cups—layered desserts that look like blooming potted plants. This joyful, creative class builds confidence in the kitchen while letting kids have fun getting a little messy.

In Colorful Creations Baking Club, young bakers will explore the joy of baking through color, creativity, and hands-on fun! Each week, children will mix, bake, and decorate simple, kid-friendly treats while learning basic kitchen skills like measuring, mixing, and following step-by-step instructions.
This class is designed especially for younger students and focuses on confidence-building, creativity, and teamwork. Recipes will feature vibrant colors and playful designs, giving children the chance to express themselves while creating something delicious to take home.
No prior baking experience is needed. All recipes are age-appropriate, and safety is always a top priority. Students will leave each class proud of what they made and excited to bake again!

Welcome to Hogwarts… Madeleine’s Kids Classes style ✨
This magical camp combines hands-on baking, potion experiments, creative crafts, wizard games, and imaginative play in a warm small-group environment.
What Campers Will Do
Each day focuses on a different magical theme.
Monday – Welcome to Hogwarts
Sorting Hat ceremony, wand making, spell practice, and wizard training games.
Tuesday – Potions Class
Create bubbling magical potions and decorate potion bottles to take home.
Wednesday – Honeydukes Candy Shop
Make Chocolate Frogs and design wizard candy packaging.
Thursday – Hogwarts Bakery
Bake pumpkin pasties and decorate magical treat boxes.
Friday – Butterbeer & Wizard Tournament
Make butterbeer, complete the O.W.L. wizard exam, solve a Hogwarts escape challenge, and celebrate with a graduation ceremony.

Step into a charming day of baking, creativity, and classic manners. In this one-day High Tea Party camp, children ages 6–10 will dress in tea party attire and enjoy a refined, hands-on culinary experience inspired by traditional high tea.
Campers will prepare tea sandwiches, delicate tea cookies, and petite fours, then host a beautiful afternoon tea complete with real herbal tea (served at room temperature). Along the way, children practice kitchen skills, presentation, etiquette, and creative expression in a calm, joyful environment.

Join us for a fun and refreshing 2-day Summer Treats Camp where kids will make real ice cream, create fruit-based treats, and enjoy hands-on kitchen fun in a small, supportive group.
Campers will:
- Make homemade vanilla ice cream using an ice cream maker
- Build ice cream sundaes with fresh fruit and toppings
- Create mini no-bake fruit tarts
- Prepare summer fruit kabobs with yogurt dip
- Design their own ice cream shop menu
Each day includes cooking projects, outdoor play, creative activities, lunch, and free choice time. Activities are naturally adapted so both younger and older children can participate confidently.

Join us for a gentle and creative half-day Garden Flowers Camp, inspired by summer gardens, flowers, herbs, and bees. Children will enjoy hands-on cooking and baking projects, beautiful nature-inspired art, outdoor play, and time to connect in a calm, small-group setting.
Throughout the week, campers will:
- Bake and decorate flower-shaped treats
- Make no-bake fruit tarts with fresh summer fruit

In this creative, full-day camp, kids will work together to write an original play, design and build puppets, create a puppet theater, and perform their show on the final day for families.
Throughout the week, campers will:
- Collaborate on storytelling and script-writing
- Design and construct puppets using a variety of materials
- Build sets, props, and a puppet stage
- Practice voice, movement, and performance skills
- Gain confidence through teamwork and creative expression
Each day includes creative work time, outdoor play, lunch, and rehearsal. The week culminates in a joyful puppet show performance on Friday.

About Teacher Madeleine
Hi! I'm Madeleine, experienced childcare provider, teacher, and fellow parent
I've always loved working with children, long before having two of my own. I taught in preschools, worked as a nanny for several families, and tutored in Seattle Public Schools for years before becoming a mom. Growing up in Seattle, my family really valued the creative arts and supported my interests. I strongly believe in the immense value creative expression holds, particularly for children's development. While pursuing my Master's at the UW, I took several Art classes and am continually learning more. More recently, I ran my own after school care program for Arbor Heights Elementary students.
I created Madeleine's Kids Classes because, as a parent, I've noticed a lack of enrichment activities for kids and creative classes for children in my area. My aim is to provide classes that meet both the need for kids to have new creative learning experiences while giving parents a well-deserved break.
